frequently asked questions
Your appointment should feel clear before you walk in. Here are a few things to know before booking, preparing, and visiting Bladed.
-
If you’re unsure which brow service is right for you, start with a consultation. Alicea will review your natural brows, skin type, goals, and comfort level before recommending the best option, whether that’s microblading, microshading, or combo brows.
-
A consultation is recommended if this is your first appointment, if you’re unsure which service to choose, or if you have previous brow work. It gives us time to talk through your goals, answer questions, and make sure the service is the right fit before moving forward.
-
Microblading uses fine, hair-like strokes to create natural-looking shape and fullness. Microshading creates a softer, more filled-in look using a shading technique. Combo brows blend both methods for clients who want natural strokes with added depth and definition.
-
Before your appointment, please review all pre-care instructions for your specific service. In general, it’s best to avoid anything that may irritate the skin or affect healing before treatment. If there are any service-specific steps you need to follow, they will be shared with you before your visit.
-
After your appointment, your brows or skin may go through a normal healing or adjustment period depending on the service. Alicea will walk you through what to expect, how to care for your results, and when to reach out with any questions.
-
For brow services, a follow-up is typically booked after the initial healing period to refine the shape, tone, and final result. Annual touch-ups can help maintain your brows over time. The best timing will depend on your service, skin, and healed results.
