Your appointment should feel clear from the start. Find answers to common questions about booking, services, preparation, aftercare, and visiting Bladed.
-
If you’re unsure where to begin, start with a consultation. Alicea can review your goals, talk through your options, and help determine whether brows, skin, or another appointment is the best fit.
-
A consultation is recommended if you’re new to Bladed, unsure which service to choose, or have previous brow work. It gives you time to ask questions, understand the process, and make sure the service is right for you before moving forward.
-
Microblading creates fine, hair-like strokes for a natural-looking brow. Microshading creates a more softly filled-in look. Combo brows use both techniques for clients who want natural strokes with added shape and depth.
-
Preparation depends on the service you book. Before your appointment, review the pre-care instructions provided for your treatment and avoid anything that may irritate the skin or affect healing. If there are specific steps you need to follow, they will be shared before your visit.
-
After your service, you may experience a normal healing or adjustment period depending on the treatment. Alicea will walk you through what to expect, how to care for your results, and when to reach out with questions.
-
For brow services, a follow-up is typically recommended after the initial healing period to refine the shape, tone, and final result. Annual touch-ups help maintain your brows over time. The best timing will depend on your service, skin, and healed results.

aftercare instructions
Good results do not end at the appointment. Aftercare helps support healing, comfort, and the final look of your brows or skin.
-
Keep the area clean and dry during the initial healing period. Avoid picking, rubbing, exfoliating, or applying makeup directly over the brows while they heal.
Avoid heavy sweating, steam, saunas, direct sun exposure, swimming, and active skincare around the brow area until you are cleared to resume.
Your brows may appear darker at first, then soften as they heal. This is a normal part of the process.
-
Keep your skincare routine simple after your appointment. Avoid exfoliants, retinol, acids, and strong active ingredients until your skin has had time to calm.
Use gentle products, stay hydrated, and protect your skin from direct sun exposure. If your skin feels sensitive, keep the routine minimal and allow it to settle.
-
If you have questions about healing, product use, or what is normal after your service, please reach out before making changes to your aftercare routine.
